Top Division II Football Players in the 2026 Transfer Portal

Luke Dehnicke – TE, Minnesota Duluth to Northwestern (.88 Rating): As a redshirt freshman, Dehnicke posted the second-highest receiving yards in Division 2, regardless of position, finishing with 61 receptions for 1,119 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Terence Roberson Jr. - OT, Ouachita Baptist to Arkansas (.87): Roberson, 6-6 and 295 pounds, became a coveted prospect immediately after entering the NCAA transfer portal on Tuesday with offers from Arkansas, LSU, Texas, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Auburn, Tennessee, Kentucky, Vanderbilt and others. He was an All-Great American Conference second team selection as a redshirt freshman in 2025. 

Jibriel Conde – DL, Grand Valley State to Kansas (.86): The 6-foot-5, 290-pound defensive lineman had a breakout campaign as a redshirt sophomore in 2025. He played in 10 games, recording 30 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks.

Marcus Stokes – QB, West Florida to Memphis (.86): The Gulf South Conference Offensive Player of the Year, Stokes completed 233/368 passes for 3,297 yards with 30 touchdowns to 13 interceptions while rushing 82 times for 367 yards and 19 more scores.

Hunter Patterson – RB, West Liberty to Old Dominion (.86): The all-league selection had 1,219 rush yards and 17 TDs this season, as well as 418 receiving yards and 3 TDs. The 5-11 Patterson had 1786 rushing yards over the past two seasons.

Amarie Fleming – Edge, Allen University to Texas Tech (.86): As a sophomore this season, Fleming had 48 tackles, 14.5 sacks, 18 tackles for loss and 4 forced fumbles.

He set a team-high in receptions in a single game as he reeled in 8 catches against West Liberty, racking up 112 yards.
